Australasia trip, Pt. 2

Assalamulaikum and good day y'all!

Okay okay let's continue with Pt. 2 without anymore pointless meroyan, yeah? :3

Aotearoa Day #3: Roadtrip!Dunedin (pronounce: dan-ni-den, I know so weird)

Okay here's the thing, New Zealand's famous for their scenic and beautiful countryside. As much as I don't know how true that statement would be about the North Island, but South Island proved to be so amazingly breathtaking.

The highway that led us to Dunedin, was an awesome one. First, no tolls, bitchis. Not even one. Secondly, the highway's like our jalan kampung; as in one lane for each ways (will be highlighted in a picture below if you're still unclear). Thirdly, the highway go through the cities, not like exits that we have in Malaysia. And lastly, of course a healthy dose of scenery and lookout points that'll make you go "whoa" constantly.

We started off with Cromwell Lookout Point!

I like this one, points to the cities in Otago.

Turquoise river water people. Not sea. River. Sigh.

These kind pictures, usually are results from camera-showdown with Ayah.

Clyde Lookout Point, next!

We have arrived in Alexandra for lunch weeeeee

While they were busy ordering our lunch in the KFC, Adan decided to (in gentler words) memerut and went to the nearest public toilet. So I decided to tag along to get some cool pictures while waiting for him to finish his nature call.

Yay Adan dah siap memerut.

Angry skies ahead.

Back on the road

Knox Church, Dunedin.
We haven't got any decent pictures in Dunedin really; it was raining both the day we arrive and the next day too.

Hahah, night picture went wrong.

Brunch before leaving Dunedin.

I can't remember were this was; like it's line in the middle of nowhere.
BUT SEE HOW HUGE THE PUMPKINS WERE OMG

LIKE SERIOUSLY.

I immediately thought of my friend Amymo when I saw this large array of honey to choose from.

Apple anyone?

A creative art(?) near Roxburgh's public toilet. Looks cool tho.

Okay, similar pictures on my phone said was this was at Butcher's Dam, in Alexandra.

Again, camera showdown with Ayah.

Another showdown because c'mon. Reflectives are super cool.

Back at Cromwell Lookout for a bit.

Okay, here's a funny story. If you remember in my last post, we went to Coronet Peak but there's nothing strangely white about it, right? See what we've found when we, again, went up to Coronet before going back to Queenstown.

SNOW. But it was too dark, so we couldn't get decent pictures so we decided to come back tomorrow morning, provided that it doesn't rain ofc.

Because we're cool liddat yaw.

Playing around with Adan in the souvenirs shop.

Adan's old lodge, before he moved to the Shotover Lodge,

Aotearoa Day #4: Coronet Peak and leaving *teary-eyed emoji*

It didn't rain that morning, so YEAY CORONET PEAK TIME!

Those who know me would understand my super, un-treatable obsession with winter and snow and winter coats, but also with beach and sea and sunshine.

The texture of the snow in your bare hands. I couldn't imagine anything better :)

Failed snow-throwing shot HAHAHAH sorry Adan

Bish he got style.

Found this at the airport; peculiar really.

Light lunch before boarding at the airport's Patagonia Chocolates restaurant.

Bye Aotearoa, bye Adan :( See you guys real soon, Insya-Allah.

So that's it, I guess for Pt.2. South Island New Zealand had been kind to us. I personally couldn't wait to explore more of the cities, namely Christchurch, Milford, and the chance to properly tour around Dunedin.

Before I end this post, answering Mak's comment in my last one: hahahah mak you have no idea how free I am as of right now. Free Tuesdays and Fridays and classes with abnormally large gaps between each other. We'll catch up later okay? Muah ciked!

Okay, people. Pt. 3 will be about my last leg of the trip; it's all about NSW, Australia. And also, about my first ever case of lost baggage! Hahaha, till next time, bye!
